| APPLIES TO | Every ticket and registration sold through Rundown |
| GOVERNING LAW | Cayman Islands |
| EFFECTIVE | On purchase of a ticket or registration |
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) attach to every ticket and registration sold through the Rundown platform (the “Platform”) operated by Rundown Events, a registered partnership in the Cayman Islands trading as “Rundown” (“Rundown”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). They govern your attendance at the event for which the ticket or registration is issued and your conduct in connection with that event.
These Terms work alongside the Rundown Purchase Policy (which governs your purchase of the ticket), the Rundown Terms of Use (which governs your use of the Platform), the Rundown Ticket Exchange Policy (which governs resale of tickets), and the Rundown Privacy Policy. Where any conflict arises in respect of the event experience, these Terms prevail.
By purchasing or accepting transfer of a ticket or registration, by attempting entry to the event, or by attending the event, you (the “Ticket Holder” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
In these Terms, the “Event Partner” means the event organizer, promoter, venue operator, or merchant that produces the event for which the ticket is issued. Rundown sells tickets and registrations on behalf of the Event Partner; the contract for the underlying event experience is between you and the Event Partner.
1. Nature of the Ticket
1.1 Each ticket is a revocable personal licence to attend the event for which it is issued. The licence is granted by the Event Partner and may be revoked at any time, in which case the Event Partner may refuse admission or remove you from the venue on refunding the price paid for the ticket, or such lesser amount as may be reasonable in the circumstances.
1.2 Tickets are not redeemable for cash, are not transferable except as expressly permitted by the Platform (see section 2), and remain at all times the property of the Event Partner pending entry. The barcode on a Rundown digital ticket is a one-time entry token; once scanned for entry, the ticket is consumed and any subsequent presentation of the same barcode will be rejected.
1.3 A ticket entitles you to an admission space of a value corresponding to the tier stated on the ticket. The Event Partner reserves the right to provide alternative seating or standing space of equal or greater value in operationally necessary circumstances (for example, where the originally allocated space becomes unavailable for safety reasons).
1.4 Tickets purchased through unauthorised channels (including unauthorised resale platforms, individuals, or any source other than Rundown or another channel expressly authorised by the Event Partner) may be cancelled without refund. The use of bots, automated buying tools, or any device or method to circumvent ticket-purchase limits or anti-bot protections is strictly prohibited and any tickets obtained by such means may be cancelled without refund.
2. Transfer, Exchange, and Resale
2.1 You may transfer a Rundown ticket to another person using the Platform’s Ticket Transfer feature, where the Event Partner has enabled it. Transfers must be made through the Platform; tickets must not be transferred by screenshot, photograph, photocopy, or any other method that purports to convey the ticket outside the Platform. Tickets transferred outside the Platform have no effect, may be cancelled, and the recipient may be refused admission.
2.2 You may resell a Rundown ticket only through the Rundown Ticket Exchange, where the Event Partner has enabled it, and only on the terms set out in the Rundown Ticket Exchange Policy. Resale through any other channel is prohibited and may result in cancellation of the ticket without refund.
2.3 Tickets may not be used as a prize in any sweepstake, contest, auction, or promotion without the prior written consent of the Event Partner. Tickets may not be used for any advertising, marketing, or promotional purpose without the Event Partner’s prior written consent.
3. Admission
3.1 Admission to the event is conditional on:
- presentation of a valid Rundown digital ticket on a working mobile device at the entrance;
- compliance with any age restriction, identification requirement, or other admission requirement set by the Event Partner or the venue;
- compliance with these Terms, the venue’s rules, and any rules published by the Event Partner;
- compliance with applicable Cayman Islands law.
3.2 Where the event has an age restriction, the Event Partner or venue may require photographic identification at the entrance. You agree to provide such identification on request. The Event Partner may refuse entry or remove from the event any person who cannot satisfy the age requirement.
3.3 Unless expressly authorised by the Event Partner, there is no pass-out or re-admission once entry has been completed. Every reasonable effort will be made to admit latecomers at a suitable break in the event, but admission of latecomers cannot be guaranteed by Rundown or the Event Partner.
3.4 The Event Partner and the venue reserve the right to conduct security checks of persons and bags at the entrance, including (without limitation) bag searches, body scanning, and removal of prohibited items. Continued admission is conditional on cooperation with such checks.
4. Prohibited Items and Conduct
4.1 The following items are prohibited at events unless expressly permitted by the Event Partner: weapons, fireworks, flares, smoke devices, laser pens, illegal substances, professional or semi-professional photographic equipment, video and audio recording equipment, drones or other unmanned aerial devices, glass containers, food and beverage from outside the venue, and any item the venue reasonably considers dangerous or disruptive.
4.2 The unauthorised use of photographic, video, or audio recording equipment in or at the venue is prohibited unless expressly authorised in writing by the Event Partner. Any recordings, photographs, films, or other media made in breach of this section may be confiscated, deleted, or destroyed, and the person making them may be removed from the event.
4.3 The use of drones or any other unmanned aerial device for any purpose in, at, or near the event venue is strictly prohibited.
4.4 Pets and other animals are not permitted at events, except for service animals (such as guide dogs) and where the venue specifically permits otherwise.
4.5 You must comply with any conduct rules notified by the Event Partner or the venue, including (without limitation) rules on noise, smoking, dress, and behaviour. You must not engage in any conduct that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or that creates a risk to the safety of any person.
5. Ejection and Refusal of Admission
5.1 The Event Partner and the venue reserve the right to refuse admission to, or to eject from, the event any person who: (a) breaches these Terms, the venue’s rules, or the Event Partner’s rules; (b) behaves in a manner that is unsafe, threatening, abusive, harassing, or otherwise unlawful; (c) is reasonably believed to be intoxicated, under the influence of an unlawful substance, or otherwise unable to safely attend the event; (d) fails to comply with any reasonable instruction from venue staff, security personnel, or the Event Partner; or (e) is reasonably believed to pose a risk to other attendees, performers, staff, or property.
5.2 Where you are refused admission or ejected from an event under this section, you will not be entitled to a refund of the ticket price or any other compensation. This includes (without limitation) refusal or ejection for crowd surfing, moshing in non-designated areas, climbing on equipment or structures, attempting to access restricted areas, failure to comply with any public-health measures in force, and breach of any conduct rule notified by the Event Partner or the venue.
5.3 The Event Partner, the venue, and Rundown shall not be liable for any costs, losses, or damages incurred by you as a result of refusal of admission or ejection under this section, including (without limitation) the cost of alternative arrangements, travel costs, or loss of enjoyment.
6. Security, Health, and Safety
6.1 You attend the event at your own risk. Live events involve inherent risks, including (without limitation) loud noise, strobe lighting, smoke effects, pyrotechnics, crowds, physical activity, and uneven surfaces. The Event Partner will use reasonable efforts to inform you in advance of any unusual or extreme effects (for example, strobe lighting that may affect persons with photosensitive epilepsy).
6.2 Where the event involves activities that may carry additional risk (such as physical participation, water-based activities, or extreme conditions), you confirm that you are physically and medically fit to participate and accept the additional risk.
6.3 You must comply with any reasonable health, safety, or security instruction given by venue staff, security personnel, the Event Partner, or law-enforcement officers. Where public-health measures are in force at the time of the event (whether imposed by the Cayman Islands Government, the Event Partner, or the venue), you must comply with those measures.
6.4 The Event Partner and Rundown accept no responsibility for personal property brought to the event. You should not bring valuable items that are not essential to your enjoyment of the event.
7. Cancellation, Reschedule, and Material Alteration
7.1 Where the Event Partner cancels, reschedules, or materially alters the event, refunds and exchanges are handled in accordance with the Rundown Purchase Policy. Refunds in such circumstances are typically limited to the face value of the ticket and the Platform Service Fee, and do not extend to consequential costs such as travel, accommodation, or other arrangements made by you in connection with attending the event.
7.2 Certain changes are not considered material alterations and do not give rise to a right of refund. These include (without limitation): the use of understudies in theatre performances; adverse weather conditions that do not result in cancellation; changes of supporting act; changes to individual members of a band; changes to the line-up of any multi-performer event such as a festival; curtailment where the majority of the event is performed; delays to the start of the performance; minor changes to performance order or set times; and changes to ancillary offerings such as food, beverage, or merchandise availability.
7.3 Rundown will use reasonable efforts to notify you of any cancellation, reschedule, or material alteration using the contact details associated with your Rundown account. It is your responsibility to keep your account contact details current and to monitor your email and in-app notifications in the days leading up to the event.
8. Image, Film, and Recording
8.1 You acknowledge that the event for which you hold a ticket is a public event, that your presence and conduct at the event are public in nature, and that you have no reasonable expectation of privacy in respect of your presence or conduct at the event.
8.2 You consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded by the Event Partner, the venue, Rundown, broadcasters authorised by the Event Partner, and other attendees as part of the ordinary documentation, security, and promotion of the event.
8.3 You grant the Event Partner and Rundown a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use your name, image, likeness, voice, statements, and any photograph, film, audio, or other recording in which you appear, in any media now known or later developed, for any purpose connected with the event, the promotion of the event, the Event Partner’s business, or Rundown’s business. This licence does not extend to private or commercial uses of your image that are unrelated to the event or the Platform.
8.4 If a particular use of your image, likeness, or recording is intended for commercial endorsement (rather than ordinary documentation or promotion of the event), the Event Partner or Rundown will seek your separate consent before such use.
9. Assumption of Risk and Release
9.1 You voluntarily assume all risks and dangers incidental to the event, whether occurring before, during, or after the event. This includes (without limitation) the risk of injury or harm caused by other attendees, performers, the venue, equipment, or environmental conditions.
9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and discharge Rundown, Invovibe Tech Ltd, the Event Partner, the venue operator, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and licensees (together, the “Released Parties”) from any claim, demand, liability, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or in connection with your attendance at the event, except to the extent caused by the Released Parties’ own negligence or wilful misconduct.
9.3 Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability of the Released Parties for: (a) death or personal injury caused by their negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Cayman Islands law.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Tickets, digital ticket QR codes, and any associated trade marks, logos, and design elements are protected by intellectual property rights owned by or licensed to Rundown and the Event Partner. You may not reproduce, modify, or commercially exploit any of these elements without the prior written consent of the relevant rights holder.
10.2 The recording, broadcast, livestream, or distribution of any part of an event — whether visual, audio, or both — is prohibited unless expressly authorised by the Event Partner. Unauthorised recordings may be subject to confiscation or deletion.
11. Privacy
11.1 The handling of your personal data in connection with the Platform and your ticket is governed by the Rundown Privacy Policy.
11.2 Where required for safety, security, dispute investigation, or compliance with applicable law, Rundown and the Event Partner may share information about you (including ticket information, identity, and where applicable scan or check-in records) with law-enforcement officers, regulators, or other parties with a lawful right to receive it.
12. Changes to these Terms
12.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. Each ticket purchase is subject to the version of these Terms in force at the time of purchase. The current version is available in the Rundown app and at rundownevents.com.
13. General
13.1 If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
13.2 No failure or delay by Rundown or the Event Partner in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms operates as a waiver of that right or remedy.
13.3 No person who is not a party to these Terms has any right to enforce them, except that the Event Partner and the venue operator are intended third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you in respect of their rights under these Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
14.1 These Terms are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of the Cayman Islands.
14.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Cayman Islands. Nothing in this clause affects any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to the support email address published on rundownevents.com, or raised via our support page at https://rundownevents.com/support. Complaints about an event itself should in the first instance be raised with the Event Partner, with Rundown copied in where you would like Rundown to assist.
Acceptance
These Terms are accepted electronically at the point of ticket purchase. By completing the purchase of a Rundown ticket or by accepting transfer of a Rundown ticket, the Ticket Holder confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in full.
Rundown’s record of the Ticket Holder’s purchase or transfer-acceptance, including the version of these Terms in force at the time, is retained against the Ticket Holder’s account and is conclusive evidence of acceptance.
