Delete Your Account

Requesting deletion of your Rundown account

This page explains how to permanently delete your account and associated data for Rundown (the events and ticketing app published on Google Play and the App Store by Rundown Events, t/a Rundown). Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to delete your account

In the app (immediate):

• 1. Open the Rundown app and sign in.
• 2. Go to the Profile tab.
• 3. Open Account & settings.
• 4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

By email: if you can't access the app, email info@rundownevents.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request and process it within 30 days.

Event organizers: accounts with upcoming published events can't be deleted until those events are completed or cancelled, so ticket holders aren't stranded. Complete or cancel your events, then delete.

Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• your profile — name, email address, phone number, profile photo, bio, and preferences;
• your sign-in credentials and authentication record (including Google / Apple sign-in links);
• saved events, followed organizers, and notification settings;
• push-notification tokens for your devices;
• links to saved payment methods (card details themselves are held by our payment processor, Stripe — we never store card numbers);
• your organizer profile and verification submission, where applicable.

Data that is kept, and for how long

Some records are retained after account deletion where the law requires it or where they are needed to resolve disputes, as described in our Privacy Policy:

• Transaction and order records (purchases, refunds, payouts) — kept for up to 7 years to meet financial, tax, and audit obligations;
• Identity-verification (KYC) documents submitted by organizers — kept for 7 years to satisfy Cayman Islands anti-money-laundering obligations;
• Fraud-prevention and safety records — kept where necessary to prevent abuse, enforce our terms, or comply with legal process;
• Anonymised analytics that can no longer identify you.

Retained records are stored securely, are no longer linked to a usable account, and are deleted when their retention period ends.

Deleting some data without closing your account

You can request deletion of specific data — for example your profile photo, phone number, or saved payment methods — without deleting your account. Remove most details yourself in the app (Profile → Settings), or email info@rundownevents.com describing what you'd like removed and we'll action it within 30 days, subject to the legal retention rules above.
